Obsidian Consulting is often looking for a Systems Architect to service our large number of enterprise clients (which include clients from Banking, Telecom Sectors and Government). This person should also be able to train Red Hat Linux.

Your responsibilities will be amongst others:

• Design, implement and document solutions based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, OSS applications, virtualization technologies (Xen and VMware)
• Integrate Red Hat Enterprise Linux with 3rd party hardware (servers, SANs) and applications (proprietary and OSS)
• Assisting the sales force during the sales process of consulting and software subscription (pre-sales engineering)
• Perform standby support for contract customers
• Train RHCE

Primary Requirements:

• 4 or more years of Linux experience
• RHCE qualification
• 2 or more years of Training experience
• Good communication and team-working skills
• Enterprise focus

Secondary Requirements:

• Virtualization (VMware ESX and/or Xen)
• Clustering (high-availability and loadsharing)
• Red Hat products - Enterprise Linux, Clustering/Global File System, Directory Server, Red Hat Network
• Experience on network services, network security
